The Leather Project is all about exploring texture, structure, and the way it reacts to light. It focuses on how light transforms the surface, bringing out details and creating shadows. Through folding, stretching, and layering, new visual and tactile qualities of leather are revealed. Although often associated with heaviness and strength, leather is also shown in its softer, lighter form. Some structures appear to float, challenging the usual perception of leather as rigid. At its core, the project is about contrast - between weight and lightness, strength and softness, control and freedom.
